The Munich artist duo Empfangshalle, Corbinian Böhm und Michael Gruber, are exhibiting a selection of works spanning the past 20 years.

Communication, cooperation, and networking are central to the development of their works. The duo integrates different affiliated groups and audience members into the process of developing an idea, unto the realisation and the reception thereof. Many of these projects were designed for public and partially public spaces, including the carport of the Munich waste centre, as well as schools, churches, and a prison.

The artists invite the audience in to the Rathausgalerie for exchange, literally transforming it into a welcoming space (German: Empfangshalle).
